LEGAL AND PRIVACY

Cookie Policy

This policy explains the limited use of cookies and similar technologies on the Xiola Digital website and how your choices will be handled.

Last updated 3 September 2026

1. Current cookie status

Essential access and security only

Xiola has not configured analytics, advertising, social media tracking or marketing cookies on the current website. For that reason, the site does not presently display a consent banner for non-essential cookies.

The hosting and access-control infrastructure may use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent session technologies to deliver the site, protect it from misuse and, where access is restricted, keep a user securely signed in. These technologies cannot be switched off through a marketing consent tool because the relevant service would not work reliably without them.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels and software development kits. They can be essential to a service or used for preferences, measurement and advertising. UK rules generally require clear information and consent before non-essential cookies are stored or accessed.

3. Technologies used in the current configuration

Category
Strictly necessary access and security
Purpose
Page delivery, secure access, load management and protection against abuse
Typical duration
Session or the limited period set by the security provider
Consent
Not required where the technology is strictly necessary

Exact cookie names and lifetimes can vary when the hosting provider updates its security controls. Xiola's website code does not currently set analytics, advertising or social tracking cookies and does not intentionally use browser local storage for profiling.

4. If optional cookies are added later

Before introducing non-essential analytics, advertising or personalisation technologies, we will update this policy and use an appropriate consent control. Visitors will be able to accept or reject optional categories through a clear positive choice and withdraw consent as easily as it was given. Optional cookies will remain disabled until valid consent has been recorded where consent is required.

5. Embedded media and external links

The current site does not intentionally load third-party social media trackers. If an external video, map or social feature is embedded in the future, its provider may set cookies. We will block non-essential elements until consent where UK law requires it. A link that takes you to another website is governed by that website's own cookie policy.

6. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies in their privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent secure or restricted areas from working. Browser settings do not replace the consent controls we will provide if optional cookies are introduced.

7. Questions or complaints

Write to Data Protection Complaints, XIOLA DIGITAL LTD, 13 Berestede Road, London, England, W6 9NP. Our complaints process and your rights are explained in the Privacy Policy.
